ER Video
Update
We just got word Ann will be admitted to the hospital this morning and will have to stay there until they find the cause of the fever and eliminate it.
This is less than welcome news all around. Ann's last stay in the hospital was rotten, considering the people who passed away or were taken to ICU. So now with only a day or two out she has to head right back in.
We have sat in the ER for the better part of 5 hours, and we can expect to wait another 3 or 4 before a room is ready.
We have seen enough of the inside of MDA to last a thousand lifetimes. What do we need to do to get our lives back?

Dear Ann and Chris, I just stumbled across your blog while reading the Baton Rouge Advocate. Our family is on a similiar journey; my 24 year old daughter is battling stage 3 ovarian cancer. She was diagnosed in the summer of 2005. While the word "remission" is not used, the doctors will occasionally use the words "stable disease." Doctorspeak--go figure. We are in Utah, but most of my family resides in and around Baton Rouge. We, too, made the trek to MDA for a second opinion but the actual treatments have been in Utah.
Just know that the road is full of rocks and potholes, but the journey of life is also full of wonderful scenery. Keep the faith.

Hi Ann! Just checking in. Hate to hear about the fever... crap! Loved the news clip. Are you still going to have your story told on the BR news? Please keep us all posted. Thinking of you and Chris...
