We had clinic today and the results for one of the tests came back positive for a bacterial infection. I've been prescribed Cipro in addition to the Z-pak I'm already taking and I'm hoping that this will clear it up. I'll have to wait until Wednesday to find out about the other test. My temperature continues to fluctuate, but we're keeping an eye on it.

Well, I am happy no fungal infection and they know what they are dealing with. I am hoping your counts go down as well when the infection is gone.

This may sound terrible, but I'm DELIGHTED to hear it! A bacterial infection is the least bad thing that it could be. Get better soon!

I'm with Wiley on this one. I didn't know how to say, Yay for bacteria! without it sounding weird. But Yay! for bacteria! I am just glad it's not what we all feared. phew.
