I am weeping with you. Ann was my hope when my daughter was diagnosed and she will always be in my thoughts and prayers as you will be. Thank you for sharing.

I am very sorry about Ann's passing....no words I have can make the pain or hurt any lighter or the burden any easier. I hope you know you both touched many lives through this blog....and I was rooting for the two of you. Much love, light and prayers ....

Please accept my deepest sympathies. You both are/were so brave and you may find some comfort in knowing that reading about your and Ann's strength and love on this blog made me stronger and more empathetic. Best to you, Chris. You are a dear man.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your beautiful wife. I've never met either of you, but I can tell from what you've so generously shared on this blog how strong your love was, and how lucky you were to have each other. Ann seemed like such a strong, loving and open person. I wish I had the opportunity to know her in real life. You are such an admiring, supportive husband. I'm sure having you by her side made everything more bearable. I wish you all the strength you need to find your way through life without your sweet Ann.

I haven't been checking the computer very often, and I am now in shock. So so sorry. Too fast we lose them. Ann and Patty had a special bond, and Ann often helped Patty over some rough emotional hurdles. There's nothing anyone can say, tho everyone tries. Meaning well, it helps them as much as you. If you want to talk, I can listen. I have no magic words, just to remember your love for each other.

I'm so sorry, Chris. Ann was a light in this world. Somewhere else it's much brighter. Jim

Hi Chris,

You and I don't know each other, but I knew Ann. We were in elementary school together and she was my best friend until the 6th grade, when my family moved to Texas and we lost touch.

Ann came up in a conversation a few days ago. My son asked me if I had a best friend when I was his age, and I told him about Ann...how we used to have sleep overs, how she had a backyard full of baby rabbits and she gave me one for my 8th birthday, and how she had an Apple II computer...we would play Lemonade Stand together and she was brilliant at it. When I moved away (1985), she gave me a little jar full of messages to remember her by.

After all these years, it finally occurred to me to look Ann up. I discovered with so much sorrow that it is too late. So, please let me add my voice to those who have expressed their love for her here. I am so sorry she is gone and so happy that she found love with you.
